Who Builds Your Logistics Center

PEB Logistics Center Builder, From Drawing to Handover

A logistics center is built around movement. Trucks arrive and leave all day, goods are unloaded, stored, picked and dispatched, and every column in the wrong place slows the operation down. As a PEB logistics center builder, Shah PEB designs each building around your dock count, racking plan and truck flow.

Columns, rafters, purlins, cladding and dock canopies are fabricated at our plant in Pithampur, near Indore, and erected by our own crews. With an annual capacity of 6,000 MT, steel for large distribution center construction is produced to your schedule.

Before We Draw

What Decides a Logistics Center's Design

The right design depends on how your goods move. These are the points we settle before any steel goes to drawing.

01

Clear Height

Set by your racking height, so you can store more on the same footprint.

02

Column Grid & Span

Columns placed to suit aisle widths and racking, keeping the floor as open as possible.

03

Dock Count & Layout

The number and position of dock doors, levellers and canopies, based on truck volumes.

04

Truck Yard & Access

Turning space, parking and entry points planned with the building, not after it.

05

Natural Light & Ventilation

Skylights and ventilators that cut lighting costs and keep the building cooler.

06

Room to Expand

End walls and frames designed so the building can be extended as volumes grow.

Why Pre-Engineered

Why Choose a PEB Logistics Center

  • Faster to operate. Bolted PEB frames go up quickly, so your logistics center starts earning sooner.
  • Wide, open spans. Tapered steel members give large column-free floors for racking and movement.
  • Built for height. Tall clear heights let you store more goods on the same land.
  • Easy to extend. Add bays as your volumes grow, matched to the original building.
  • Lower maintenance. Coated steel and roof sheeting stand up well to Central India's weather.
Where We Build

Logistics Center Construction in Indore and Across MP

Indore sits at the center of India's road network, which makes it a natural base for logistics and distribution. Our plant at Sector 3, Pithampur is about 30 km away, so our engineers can visit your site quickly and steel reaches it in hours.

Beyond Indore, we build logistics centers and warehouses across Madhya Pradesh and in other states, with the same in-house design, fabrication and erection.

FAQs

Logistics Center Questions, Answered

What is a logistics center?

A logistics center is a building where goods are received, stored, sorted and dispatched. Compared with a basic warehouse, it is designed around fast movement, with more loading docks, wider truck yards and layouts planned for racking and picking.

What is the difference between a warehouse and a logistics center?

A warehouse is mainly for storage. A logistics center is built for movement as well as storage, so it usually has more dock doors, larger truck areas and a layout planned around inbound and outbound flow.

Why use a PEB structure for a logistics center?

A PEB logistics center is fabricated in a factory and bolted together on site, so it goes up faster than a conventional building. Tapered steel members give wide column-free spans and tall clear heights for racking, and the building can be extended later.

How long does logistics center construction take?

It depends on the building size, design and site readiness. Fabrication happens at our plant while the foundations are prepared, so on-site erection is the fastest stage. Our crews hold a world record for erecting a 35,100 sq ft PEB building in 34 hours 30 minutes.

Can a logistics center include offices or mezzanine floors?

Yes. Office blocks and steel mezzanine floors for storage or packing can be designed into the building from the start.

Do you build logistics park buildings with several blocks?

Yes. We can build multiple warehouse and logistics blocks on one site to a common design, which speeds up logistics park construction.

Do you build logistics centers outside Indore?

Yes. Our plant is in Pithampur near Indore, and we build across Madhya Pradesh and in other states.
